Before paying attention to the opponent that you have in front of you, I suggest that you watch one that is much closer to you. Do you know who I am referring to? The one who you have inside of you and who follows you everywhere, wherever you go. It is the part of you that you are playing against, and it tends to complicate things more than it has to. It makes you lose tennis matches and opportunities to grow. By getting to know this part of yourself, you will learn to live with it. Later you can improve on it by making it smaller and harmless. If you were to eradicate it from your mind, you would be handling one of those tennis players who nobody wants to face. They seem to be a walking immunity, as if nothing and no one could disturb them.
